Sustainable construction
The conception of the Hotel Huayacán it is based on the use of local materials with low environmental and visual impact. Taking advantage of the type of soil in the region, Hotel Huayacán it is built using volcanic stone.
ORGANIC FARM
We make sure that our restaurant foods are as natural and healthy as possible. The egg comes from our chickens Isa Brown that we care for and feed healthily to obtain the best quality of natural eggs.
ORGANIC GARDEN
Our vegetable garden creates a value proposition by integrating organic ingredients harvested in our own vegetable garden. In addition to providing lettuce and aromatic and fine herbs to our restaurant, we take advantage of organic ingredients for our banquets and event decorations.
COMPOST
We use 100% of the organic waste from our gardens and our restaurant to process it in the best way and turn it into compost. Our compost is later used in the Pixca Organic Vegetable Garden. to naturally nourish our crops used in the restaurant. In this manner, Huayacán works with a closed cycle of waste organic.
ENDEMIC FLORA
At Huayacán we know the importance of hosting a wealth of biodiversity. Even though we have introduced species, we always prioritize hosting endemic flora of the State of Morelos. We are proud to host and protect guayacáns, guamúchiles, huaxoctes and ceibas endemic to the region.
BIO-POOL
The Bio-pool it has been carefully designed with sustainable materials to create a living space that maintains the biodiversity and functions of a natural environment. The purification of the water is constant thanks to the presence of substrates, microorganisms and plants that filter and oxygenate the water, so the use of chlorine is not necessary. Dragonflies and frogs, as well as the induced movement of the water, keep mosquitoes, larvae and other unwanted organisms away.
